HANDLE & CARE for FRESH FLOWERS:
- Start with a clean vase & good quality water!
One of the largest deterrents to fresh cut flower life is bacterial. Always use warm (100 – 110 degree) clean water as most flowers take in warm water more efficiently than cold. - Cut Stems & Remove Foliage
Re-cut the stems at an angle removing at least one inch of the stem. Always use a sharp knife or clippers rather than scissors as this will avoid crushing the stem and therefore the vascular system.
Leaves that will be below the water line in the container must be removed. Leaves sitting in water will deteriorate and rot. Decaying leaves make a good medium for bacteria and fungi, which will plug the vascular system preventing hydration and eventually causing death. DO NOT remove all leaves along the stem length, the flowers require the leaves as part of their hydration process. Always be “gentle” during the removal of leaves, gashes or breaks in the stem surface are “open wounds” where bacteria may enter. - Last but not least
Check the water level daily and replenish as needed. If the water becomes cloudy, it should be completely exchanged for fresh. As the water level gets low, you must re-fill vases with fresh solution made with correct proportions of Fresh Flower Food and water.
HANDLE & CARE for ROSES THAT LAST A YEAR:
- Store flowers in a cool, dry environment with low lighting
- When displaying, keep away from direct spotlight and humidity
- When cleaning use a dust cleaner. Do not spray with any cleaning solution
- Do not Refrigerate or freeze! These flowers have already been processed for immediate use.
BECAUSE EVERYONE HANDLES AND CARE DIFFERENTLY WE DO NOT GUARANTEE ANY LASTING TIME FOR EITHER FRESH FLOWERS OR ROSES THAT LAST A YEAR!
LOCAL DELIVERIES
We offer delivery all over Miami . For hand-deliveries a fee will be applied. The delivery fee will be calculated based on the delivery address zipcode.
Please note that if you chose ” I will pickup myself” during checkout process and no one pickup the flowers on that day we are not responsible for the loss.
REQUESTS FOR SPECIFIC DELIVERY TIMES:
Because of multiple variables, including the traffic, we are unable to guarantee deliveries at a specific time. However, you can request a delivery time frame by filling in the special instruction box when completing your order, and we will do our best to deliver the arrangement within your preferred time frame. In addition, you are always welcome to call us so that one of our team members can handle your request personally.
IF THE RECIPIENT IS NOT HOME:
In the case that the recipient is not home at the time of delivery, we will contact you by phone unless you provided us with special instructions on your order form. While we do our due diligence to reach you, if we miss you we may leave the delivery in a safe place, such as in a shaded area on the front porch or with a neighbor, or we may leave a message to call to arrange for future delivery or a pick up at one of our locations.
THE RECIPIENT MAY BE CONTACTED:
We may need to contact the recipient to ensure someone will be home to accept delivery or to confirm the address unless you tell us not to contact them in the special instruction box when completing your order.
CANCELLATIONS
All cancellation requests must be submitted by calling (786)-999-5824 at least 2 days (48 hours) prior to the delivery or pick up day.
RETURN & EXCHANGE POLICY
All sales concluded at FlowWov are final. We are providing a service consisting of perishable items with sensitivity to temperature, moisture, and light. Please keep in mind that flowers are perishable and have a life of their own. Proper care is required. It is the responsibility of the recipient to follow care instructions provided by FlowWov.
